We Just returned from our summer trip. We went to Canada this year to visit where Scott grew up and then also to see Shawna's Parents just as they were finishing their mission on Vancouver Island! First we went over to Vernon and went to a water park, visited one of Scott's old friends and enjoyed the scenery of Canada. We all were in awe of the differences between there and America! Then we went over the the island by Ferrie! Grandma and Grandpa were at our rental and greeted us with hugs, kisses, dinner and of course a TEA RING! It was wonderful. Over the last few days we were there we went to Cathedral Grove, had ice cream at a member's ice cream stand, the Ocean, and other really fun activities including mini golf! It was wonderful and we all had such a fun time together. One of Shawna's most fond memories was being able to play Mini Golf with all the kids and all of us playing on the same level. She just loves all our ages at the moment. We cant wait for our next vacation, we were all so pumped we almost didnt come home. At the airport we thought it would be better if we went to Disneyland instead! lol!
